Satellite Max TV in Croatia
The Hrvatski Telekom (a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom) is creating the new Max TV satellite platform for Croatia, which is similar to the homonymous IPTV platform for the company. The Hrvatski Telekom has hired three transponders on satellites Eutelsat (16E), which operates through a trial broadcast standards DVB-S2/MPEG-4 and encryption system Nagravision. H Max TV satellite will provide more than 60 channels (SD & HD), the marketing of which is expected to begin by transferring the platform to launch new satellite on Eutelsat W3B (16E). Noted that Croatia has already satellite platforms and Digi TV Total TV with 50,000 subscribers and 6,000 respectively.
