Yes, but I am not getting much out of them any more.
Hardly any updates as well these days.

Re: End of Conditional Access Modules (Cams)?
maybe he is refering to the fact that now there are sw for many satellite receivers that enable to insert in their card slot many types of card for different encryption
so common interface and conditional access modules are not needed anymore

Now that there's software and cs. I agree that there will not be much demand anymore for cams. But I don't gonna say that it's totually over, because the cams are still good for biss + ccws keys and a few little packages.

Re: End of Conditional Access Modules (Cams)?
Lately some TV sets are sell by CAM slots and some providers married their cards with
CAM's. So , CAM's are still usable but not as years before.

hi
Indeed, CAM's can still be used (eg A*stri*), but less and less - also not much updates and support for the last months.

Re: End of Conditional Access Modules (Cams)?
True, but my Dragom CAM still works fine (with the last predator soft 3.80). Programmed with a CAS3+.

Re: End of Conditional Access Modules (Cams)?
No, but a lot of them are (see internet for info) - I use a CAS 3+ to program mine and works fine.
